Interesting. I found a reminder almost like your post today on my flickr account and used the link there to get the upgrade and did it about a week ago. It took quite a while to get it and get it installed but it worked without a hitch.

Hi Abraham, good to hear. I had read in the press of people having a lot of trouble but the computer that i upgraded today went without a problem. Of course my older computer can’t see the patch to upgrade but lifes not perfect

Not in Pakistan, we have a lot of pirated software, vistas costs a dollar so microsoft does not do updates on them

Update to XP, it’s the only way to go!

I had a serious spot of bother taking my last picture, it was very unpleasant.

Destituterebel – thats about what the software is worth in many peoples eyes i think.

Curly – naaa. Having used XP for years they are about equal. A disturbing experience you had there too, just goes to show some people will always get the wrong idea from anything
