Sunset

This is the sunset last night from Little Howrah beach that i wanted to post yesterday but since i didn’t manage to recover the shots and the rest on my SD card until around 2am it had to wait until today.
The shot itself is of the sunset from Little Howrah Beach looking towards Hobart and Mt Wellington which has a bit of afternoon sea breeze cloud hanging around. In the summer the sun sets to the south of the mountain, to the North in Winter. Right now we are in Autumn so the sun is setting somewhere behind the mountain.
Wedding Photos

Not the photo i had planned to post today but i have had a SD card crash and am trying to recover it
Instead Motorcycle Officer from the Police had stopped at a wedding to talk to a friend and the bridesmaids took advantage of the chance for an unusual wedding shot.
Parking with a view

Where i park my car when i drive on a workday has a million dollar view and yet it costs nothingwith views up and down the Derwent and of Macquarie Wharf. Like me a lot of drivers take advantage of the free parking at the Hobart Regatta Grounds although depending where you go it can be a little bit bumpy, ok for my 4WD but no so good for a small car.
I was there this morning around 7.40am and now that it is Autumn dawn is later and dusk sooner too so i could see the last traces of the sunrise in the sky. It doesn’t look that great a day but at the time i parked the car it was around 23 degrees C (73 F) and our maximum tempreture today was 37.3 degrees C (99 F), the hottest day of the year. Shame it took until Autumn to get it!
That Other Great Question …

Its up there with which came first, the chicken or the egg?
