Sunset on Murray
Walking up Murray Street towards the CBD i could see some of the sunset ahead and had to share it as it felt like such a contrast to the city itself.

Port Arthur
This is from Port Arthur and is one of Australia’s Premier attractions and an interesting place to visit unlike when it was a Penitentiary where it was a dark place to visit.
Sadly it has a more recent dark history when on this day in 1996, Martin Bryant launched a killing spree which cost 35 lives and left a further 37 wounded in what became known as the Port Arthur massacre. How many more were affected is anyone’s guess.

Laundrette
Continuing my recent theme of Hobart By Night in Black and White is this laundrette that caught my attention in North Hobart.
Rock in Troubled Waters
While not strictly within the Hobart area this time exposure shot is one that i was quite happty with. It was shot at 1/5 of a second to produce the white effect of the water with the wave coming in.
