©hobartdaily.com - A damaged tree after gale force winds lashed hobart

Here in Hobart we have been hit with unpleasant weather with gale force winds and rain. At its peak a weather station near to my home recorded a wind speed of 176 km per hour. My home suffered minimal damage with a few roof tiles lost, a dog bowl lost and a frightened dog who got to sleep inside.

In the city this morning there was debris everywhere including today’s photo where part of a tree had come down and the wood cleared. Elsewhere power lines were down and roofs off.
