Hello there
My great grandad died on the first day of the landings at anzac cove.
I do not have a photos of him in his australian uniform
i do know he enlisted in brighton tasmania and departed from Hobart.
he did know a lady there called Ida Mc Tye
He was British and had been in the British Navy prior to joining the AIF.
I plan to make the trip to anzac cove, lone pine etc for anzac day next year..
