  2. I have seen so many pictures of vineyards during summer months, but I have to admit I have never seen a vineyard in fall. I had no idea that the plants were such a bright yellow!

  10. Yes, very pretty scene. Chautauqua County New York, where I grew up, is a center of grape cultivation in the Eastern US. The photo reminds me of the many vineyards around the village of Westfield, NY on the shores of Lake Erie. Like Richmond, Westfield, (which was founded in 1802), is very charming, with its old houses, village green, and antique shops.
