Visiting Hobart for three days from today is the USS Tarawa, an amphibious assault ship.

From the Lookout at the Springs on Mt Wellington. Gives you an idea of the size of the harbor that you can hardly see the ship at all. In 1978 the USS Enterprise was anchored in the Harbor
