(c)hobartdaily.com - A goal to OHA in the Reserves Grand Final between OHA & St Virgils

Its described as Australia’s game, Australian Rules Football (or Aussie Rules) which is played at different levels around the country. Today i took the chance to watch the Reserves Grand Final between OHA and St Virgils with OHA winning 13 9 87 to St Virgils 10 5 65 at North Hobart.

    2. Aussie Rules isn’t that big in Qld which probably makes us the odd state out (something that Tas and Qld have terribly in common I think!)

    3. Midge – yeah sounds familiar for sure :-) . its not that big in NSW either yet they are trying to put another afl club in both states while an AFL mad state like Tassie can’t get a team of its own. Its weird for sure.

    4. Well done OHA. My some Henry and I often catch their games and training, as their home ground is just across the road from us.
