Mist, Light and Ferns

The Fernery at the Botanical Gardens, Hobart

Some times the trick to a good photograph is just being in the right place at the right time. Today i am kicking off a new photo series at the Tasmanian Botanical with a shot taken when in the right place and the right time as i chanced upon the Fernery as they watered the ferns with a gentle mist. The light was at just the right angle and the rest is a photograph.

This photograph is also kind of special, not because it is the 638th photo posted on Hobart Daily but because this is the 500th day in a row that i have updated this photoblog and my other photo blog Bicheno Daily. I have come close a couple of times to missing a day but in the end i made it!
