This Way
One of the nice things about Hobart is that you don’t have to go far to be able to go for a walk in the bush as Mt Wellington is close to the city and has many walking tracks to choose from.

The Chalet
The Chalet which is located along side the road at 1,000 metres above sea level on the slopes of Mt Wellington. On the day i took this shot, the road was closed due to snow and ice and i had walked up the road to this point.
The Road to the Pinacle
A shot from today on the road to the Pinacle. Thanks to fresh snow falls the road was closed at Gate 3 at the Springs. The only way to go higher was to walk up the road and despite it being a work day there were a number of people walking up the road. I walked to “The Chalet”" at the 1000 m mark and that was enough for me knowing it would be cold walking downhill into the headwind.
