The Summit
Today’s shot is of the summit of Mt Wellington standing at 1271m asl during a blizard. We have had an unplesant wintery snap that saw the road closed at 800m while i was sitting up at the top of the Mountain and an unpleasant and slippery drive down.
Browns River

Silver Falls
This is silver falls at Fern Tree on the slopes of Mt Wellington. Thanks to some heavy rainfall there was extra water going over the falls the day i took the photo.
Leaves
I had a pleasant walk at Fern Tree and Mt Wellington today. This shot is taken near Silver Fall and the silver in the background is the falls.
Cyclist in the Fog
This is the last shot from my series on Mt Wellington that i took and will be posting. It is rare not to see at least one cyclist riding up the road to the summit of Mt Wellington and i can only imagine how my legs would be feeling if i did it! Of course the way people drive i also would not be game myself!
