The War Memorial at New Norfolk with the main places the men and women served in during World War I. In every town in every state of Australia you will find a war memorial whether it is big or small commemorating the service and sacrifice. This Saturday is Anzac Day and at this memorial as most of the other ones there will be a dawn service to remember the fallen and the service of the men and women who volunteered.

Down River from Pulpit Rock
Pulpit Rock is an outstanding lookout that looks out over New Norfolk and surrounds. This shot shows the Derwent River and the view down river from New Norfolk. It is a shame the weather wasn’t better the day I was there to take the picture.
