This is my contribution to the monthly Daily Photo Blog. I had it all planned for weeks and went out to take the photo sunday, only to discover that what i was thinking as a topic wasn’t actually what i thought it was. So i fell back on my own version of a sphere, an Aussie Rules Football going through the goal at North Hobart Football Ground.

Its described as Australia’s game, Australian Rules Football (or Aussie Rules) which is played at different levels around the country. Today i took the chance to watch the Reserves Grand Final between OHA and St Virgils with OHA winning 13 9 87 to St Virgils 10 5 65 at North Hobart.

A couple of weeks ago i was driving by and noticed cricket being played. This is the old TCA ground on the domain and the last time i was there Clive Lloyd was captaining the West Indies in a One Day international so its been a long while!
