I am not sure why lying in the dirt is comfortable but Boyd was happy to do just that the other day. Not much of a watch dog since he didn’t even notice me pull up and get out of the car.
Farleys Road
This is the remains of Farleys Road in the former suburb of Merton that i featured yesterday. It was a cobbled road once and now part of the Merton Fire Trail

Melton
Several weeks ago i read an article in the Sunday Tasmanian about the former suburb of Melton. It was located out the back of Glenorchy and home for up to 500 people in its heyday but was cleared out and demolished in the 1960s with the development of a water catchment. All that remains is some old stairs (above), foundations and the remains of a cobbled road (tomorrow’s update)
