Welcome to Hobart Daily, a daily updated photoblog that features a daily photo taken from Hobart and surrounding areas. You can read more about Hobart here.
My name is Greg and i am the blogger/photographer behind the blog and lens. I have been a long time blogger and more recently a photoblogger. I started with my first photoblog whole-universe.com which featured a diverse range of locations and subjects. That fell by the wayside and rather than revive it i started a new photoblog typical-day. In the end i decided i wanted to have a more topic specific blog and thus Hobart Daily was born, a photoblog from my home city of Hobart, Australia.
Equipment:
I use or have used several different cameras for taking photographs depending on when it was taken and what i had with me at the time. These are:
- Nikon D40 with 18-55mm lens or 18-200mm lens
- Cannon EOS3000N with 28-80mm lens
- Kodak CX4200 Easyshare Camera
- Pentax Optico E40
- Canon MD120 (Video Camera)

No Colour which features a range ofblack and white photography. I first started to learn photography in a black and white class and while i love colour photography, black and white is my first love when it comes to photography.
